I discovered this handy little tip the other day. I had applied my foundation and then set it with a pressed powder. My skin was slightly drier than normal and so my face looked cakey. My face looked overly matte and one dimensional.
For some of you beauty geeks out there you would know that MAC Fix+ is an excellent way to solve this problem. You just spray your face a few times and lightly press the product into your face with your hands. Problem solved!
But! I live in Australia and makeup, especially high end products like MAC, are ridiculously expensive! This product is on my wishlist though because it sounds brilliant.
So what to do? I had a cakey face that needed to be fixed! So I grabbed my beauty blender dupe (I have the Manicare blender from Target, $8) and ran it under warm water for about 5 seconds. Then it pressed and rolled it over my skin to absorb some of the excess powder. It worked a treat!
